All of the images here were created by the owner of Kaleidoscope, Marissa. In 2007 at the age of 17, Marissa had her first professional show at Art Works and began working as photojournalist in Middletown. After working several years as a photographer and graphic designer while attending CCSU for Mural Painting, Marissa began face painting in 2010; then, in 2011, Marissa assisted master body painter Melissa Domogala as the two placed Top 10 at the 2011 North American Body Painting Championship in Dallas, TX. In 2013 Marissa opened Kaleidoscope and had her first solo body painting show at Bare Bones Gallery in Bristol, CT.

Marissa and any of her assistants specialize in making the model feel comfortable. For most people, being body painted is a new, exciting, and sometimes nerve-wracking experience! After coming to our studio, you’ll be offered coffee, tea, water, or snacks. The room temperature will be adjusted to keep you comfortable while working. Custom body painting pieces range from $100-500 without photography and printing. Photography ranges from $50-250. Printing begins at $50 for a poster print and $75 for gallery wrapped canvas.
